When we first started writing this report, we covered “hiring” as a whole, so combined our job boards report with this one.
After each report became large enough to stand on its own, it made more sense to separate the two and hope that if you’re in one of these industries (or looking to get into them), you’ll agree.

A Team Overseas: $60K in Annual Revenue
Matching companies with Phillippines-based assistants
A Team Overseas is a platform for businesses to hire executive assistants based in the Phillippines that was founded by Kevin Galang.
The service matches experienced and vetted assistants with companies based on their specific needs.
Kevin organises an onboarding call with potential customers to fully understand the skillset demands and role requirements, and then assigns the right people to the tasks. The platofrm also provides onboarding support in the form of training and checklists to ensure a smooth transition.
The cost to hire an EA is an initial $6,000 and then $1,400 per month for each assistant. Equating to $22,800 per year.
Although still very much a growing business, A Team Overseas have already surpassed $60,000 in annual recurring revenue.

Hirevire: $103K in Annual Revenue
job applicant video screening software
Hirevire is a job candidate screening platform that was founded by Sanat Hedge and Nikhil Kachare in 2022.
The service aims to save recruiters time by replacing traditional telephone screening of applicants with a video alternative.
Hirevire’s software enables companies to create a job listing with an introductory video explaining the role. Those potentially interested in the vacancy can then watch the video in their own time, before responding with their own video featuring answers to any questions asked.
This allows those looking to hire to screen candidates by reviewing the submitted applications, before going on to offer traditional interviews.
Pricing for the service starts at $29 per month for one user, one job and 30 days of video storage. There are two further pricing tiers costing $49 and $99 per month which include unlimited jobs, additional users and up to 90 days of storage.
Hirevire has been used by hundreds of companies to date, and has grown revenue in the last 12-months to $103,233.

Movevirtual: $8.8K in Monthly Recurring Revenue
Virtual Assistant Recruitment Platform
Movevirtual is a VA recruitment platform which is one of a number of new businesses founded by Nick in 2023 after leaving his role at Meta.
The business supports companies in cutting their employee costs by sourcing virtual assistants, and then supporting with their onboarding, training, and management.
Prices start at $749 bi-weekly to hire a virtual growth assistant. Rising to $1,249 bi-weekly for designer and marketing assistants. There are also custom packages available from $1,749 for multiple assistant requirements.
For such a young business, it's quite an achievement to see that Movevirtual reached over $23,000 in monthly recurring revenue after consistent months of surpassing $20,000 MRR. Whilst revenue has since fallen to $8,800 MRR as of December 2024, we wouldn't be surprised to see figure rise once again due to the success Nick has with various projects.

Resume Assassin: $30K in Monthly Revenue
Resume Writing Service
Resume Assassin is a resume writing service which was founded in 2016 by Mary Southern who is an expert resume writer with more than 12 years experience.
To date, Mary has helped thousands of professionals from companies such as Apple, NASA, and Tesla with her range of resume-support platform.
Resume service prices range from $499-649, with an additional enquiry-only tier for entrepreneurs and business owners. These are then produced for customers within seven days. The site's offering has since expanded to include options such as cover letter templates and services from $100 and Linkedin optimisation from $349.
Mary shared in 2022 that her annual revenue was $240,000, and had seen a 25% increase YoY for the past five years. This had since grown by an additional 20% to $288,000 for 2023 with zero additional financial investment. This increased revenue has been partly attributed to additional exposure including interviews and podcast appearances to showcase the business.
One of the initial aims of the site was to grow to $1 million in total revenue, and by December 2023 Resume Assassin had reached this milestone. 12-months later and the business is generating $30,000 in monthly revenue.

DevSignal: $30K+ in Monthly Revenue
Platform to hire overseas designers and developers
DevSignal supports companies to quickly hire remote designers and developers and was founded in 2023 by Samee Hassan.
Customers can complete a form to let the DevSignal team know their requirements, and a consultant will then match them with the right developer from their pool of over 1,500 experts within just 24 hours.
Unlike a typical jobs board, all of the overseas developers are hired out by DevSignal. Each individual is pre-vetted and typically costs 40% less than US equivalent workers.
The service has been used by more than 100 startups, who pay $40 per hour on a flexible contract to work with an expert who is fluent in the preferred programming language. Customers can then receive weekly reports and logs.
Samee disclosed earlier in 2023 that the business was achieving over $30,000 per month in revenue. This is some achievement when you consider that less than $600 had been spent on the business in total.
Following on from this DevSignal was actually acquired in January 2024. Whilst no specific number was disclosed, we do know that the sale price was in the six-figures.

Vente AI: $620K in Funding
Business development platform for recruiters
Vente automates business development for recruiting companies, saving them from wasting time on manual processes like matching candidates with companies. It uses a lead analysis model that identifies leads, generates spec CVs, and helps recruiters see which opportunities are most likely to close.
Currently headquartered in London’s East End, Vente was founded in May 2024 by Cameron Briggs, Itamar Yeshua and Octavian Neguletu. The team brings a blend of recruitment, technical, and sales expertise to the business.
In November 2024, 6 months after launching, the business raised £500K (~$620K USD) in pre-seed funding, taking its total funding to £620K (~$764K USD). It will use the infusion of capital to work on its integration capability and speed up user onboarding.

Mercor: $1M+ in Annual Revenue
platform to source and pay vetted employees
Mercor is an AI-powered platform to match professionals with companies looking for talent which was founded in January 2023 by Adarsh Hiremath, Brendan Foody and Surya Midha.
The service supports US businesses with hiring global employees that Mercor have previously sourced and vetted using AI. More specifically, the service looks to match business analysts, designers and engineers in more than 120 countries with companies, based on their budgets and skill requirements.
Mercor has a pool of 300,000 individuals who've previously worked at the likes of Apple, Google, Meta and Notion. Once the right individual for the role has been selected Mercor then supports with onboarding and payroll.
The business has grown significantly within the first year and is now placing 500 individuals per month in roles with over 50 US organisations. This had led to an annual revenue of over $1 million for the platform. And although we don't have specific income figures for 2024, Brendan shared that revenue had grown by 6,400% for the year.
In February 2025 Mercor raised $100 million in Series B funding, taking the total amount of investment received beyond $135 million.

Checkmate: $1.6M in Funding

Coconut VA: $2.5M in Annual Revenue
Virtual Assistant Recruitment Business
Coconut VA is a platform to provide virtual assistants to entrepreneurs and small businesses which was founded in 2022 by Tyler Leber and Eric Espinosa.
The business supports customers with access to over 70,000 VAs who can be hired for various remote positions for between 20 to 40 hours per week. Typical hourly rates for vetted VAs on the site are $12-24 per hour.
Clients are also assisted with the interview process, onboarding, and even given payroll support.
Coconut VA - which is fully bootstrapped - grew to an impressive $1 million annual recurring revenue within the first 18 months, and it has since generated $2.5 million in ARR.
As their mission is to make Coconut VA the best VA staffing agency in the world, we'll be following the businesses progress with great interest.

ThirstySprout: $2.5M in Annual Revenue
Technical talent marketplace
ThirstySprout helps high-growth companies in the US scale by sourcing top technical talent from around the world. With a focus on the fintech, AI, healthcare, and e-commerce industries, the business maintains a database of over 300,000 remote professionals, all already vetted and highly experienced. This allows clients to assemble technical teams in a matter of days.
Georgian, David Stepania founded the company in 2018 after struggling to find reliable software development teams for his own previous start-ups. ThirstySprout now employs more than 55 staff and has served over 400 clients, including well-known companies like Mailchimp, Intuit, and Momentous Space.
The business operates according to its guiding principles of building trust, taking action in spite of uncertainty, and owning outcomes to achieve high performance.
ThirstySprout’s annual revenue currently sits at $2.5 million, with a total revenue of more than $45 million.

Vinter: $2.6M in Funding
AI-powered recruitment platform
Vinter was founded in London in 2024 by Erdem Can and Erkan Yenicare. Drawing on their backgrounds in HR and management, they’ve developed a cloud-based platform that uses AI to streamline recruitment processes and evaluate candidates in a fair and objective way.
Users can customize the system and set a range of assessments — including tasks, questionnaires, and videos — from a pool of ready-made questions, and then use the analytics dashboards to inform decision making. The solution reduces costs by 80% and results in a hiring process that’s nine times faster.
Vinter recently raised £1.1M (~$1.35M) in seed funding to make a total of $2.6M. It plans to use this to expand the business and develop the product further.

WrkPod: $225K in Monthly Recurring Revenue
Filipino talent recruitment, training, and co-working space service
WrkPod is a platform which helps companies recruit talent from the Philippines which was founded in 2020 by Dale Beaumont and Kody Thompson.
WrkPod places around 500 staff per year to companies in dozens of industries who are looking to save up to 70% in costs when compared to local recruitment.
The service reviews applicants and ensures references are carried out before supporting them with final interviews and salary negotiations. Any recruited individuals also receive access to 210 hours of training which enables them to complete over 160 different tasks.
The price of the recruitment is $695 per month which includes a meeting to discuss requirements before the job role is advertised on the site and on the likes of Facebook. Once hired, companies can pay $68 per week for their new member of staff to work in the WrkPod serviced office which features high-speed internet, meeting rooms and various staff social areas.
In total this equates to around $4.80 per hour, or $10,000 per year for each full-time staff member. The price also includes time and performance management tracking software to monitor productivity.
Since launching WrkPod has been steadily growing its customer base and is now generating $225,000 in monthly recurring revenue.

Apriora: $3.3M in Funding
Autonomous AI interviewer
Apriora is a SaaS platform designed to simplify and speed up recruiting for engineering teams by prescreening candidates.
The platform schedules and conducts live candidate interviews using an AI interviewer called Alex. It also allows recruiters to set technical assessments with built-in cheat detection. The recruiter then receives a transcript and summary of the interview, assessment results, and a report that analyzes the candidate’s performance and rates their suitability for the role.
Aprioria was founded in 2023 by John Rytel, a software engineer, and Aaron Wang, a quantitative finance expert who previously worked at Facebook AI. They raised $500K during their pre-seed round and in May 2024, boosted this with an additional $2.8 million in seed funding, for a total of $3.3 million.

HiringThing: $5.5M in Funding
White label recruiting and onboarding
HiringThing offers white-label recruiting software that makes it easy for companies to source talent, manage candidate applications, and then hire the best. The customizable, AI-powered solution includes applicant tracking and employee onboarding software.
HiringThing was launched by Joshua Siler in 2012 with the goal of making hiring a more enjoyable experience for job seekers and employers alike. The platform is simple and intuitive and allows businesses to streamline hiring across multiple clients and locations, while retaining a personal touch. Together these features make up “Hiring Happiness®”.
Funding rounds have netted the business $4.5M in March 2012 from angel investors and then $1M in seed funding in January 2019, totaling $5.5M. The latest investment will be used to grow the sales and engineering teams and expand the business further.

Pin: $5.6M in Funding
Helps streamline recruitment processes
Pin is an AI-powered recruiting platform that helps organizations streamline their hiring processes, so they can source, interview and onboard talent faster. Founded in 2024 by Steven Lu and Milun Tesovic, the company now has over 600 customers, ranging from small startups to large, established enterprises.
The platform uses automation to identify ideal candidates, provides high-performing and personalized email templates, follows up on conversations, and efficiently schedules interviews — saving time at every step of the process. To date, Pin has searched over 200 million resumes in the US.
The company has raised a total of $5.6 million in funding, including $3 million in the latest round in December 2024. This new funding will be used to grow the team, speed up product development, and scale the business’s marketing efforts.

Index: $6.2M in Annual Revenue
Platform to hire remote tech talent from all over the world
Index supports tech companies in building their software engineering teams after being founded in 2019.
With the aim of making the recruitment process more streamlined for customers, the service sources experienced developers from all over the world, ensuring each one is assessed and vetted.
The platform also features account managers and artificial intelligence to support recruiting and onboarding the right person to their team before managing billing and payments. Index's full service solution means that tech talent can begin working in a new role with their employer just one week after the job was advertised.
Developers don't pay a fee to use the service and set their own monthly rate. Companies using Index can post jobs for free and then pay a monthly fee based on the tech talents rate and length of the contract.
Typically, companies can save $40,000 per year for each developer by using the platform. This has resulted in over 100 brands using Index, in industries such as eCommerce, finance, gaming, logistics and travel.
In 2022 Index generated €5.8 million (~$6.2M) in annual revenue, a huge increase on the €162,000 (~$173K) reported three years prior.

GoodTime: $16M in Funding
AI support for hiring
GoodTime is a Meeting Optimization Engine. Originally designed to streamline interview processes for talent teams, with a focus on connecting with candidates, it’s now being used for all types of meetings. The solution automates scheduling, invites the right attendees, and offers insights to improve meeting efficiency and effectiveness.
Founded in 2015 by Peter Lee, Ahryun Moon, and Jasper Stone after they met at a hackathon, the platform is used by over 300 companies including big names like Spotify, Slack, Pinterest and HubSpot. To date, it’s helped coordinate more than 12 million interviews.
GoodTime grew its annual revenue by 423% between 2018 and 2021, with more than $50M earned in 2021. It has raised a total of $16.7M, netting $9.5M in the latest Series A round in June 2021, which will be used to scale the business and accelerate innovation.

Zen Educate: $22M in Annual Revenue
Education recruitment platform
Zen Educate is a platform to connect schools with supply teaching staff which was founded in 2017 by Oren Cohen and Slava Kremerman.
After discovering that UK schools spend over £600 million per year directly to temporary staffing agencies, they wanted to create a solution which would save schools millions of pounds in recruitment costs.
Zen Educate was born, operating as an alternative to temporary cover agencies for teachers, assistants and supervisors looking to find work within schools.
The service allows schools to view the relevant profiles of staff that have been both interviewed and vetted before being added to the platform. They can then be booked for a specific vacancy within a matter of minutes, and with up to 50% lower costs than through a typical agency.
Zen Educate recently raised $37 million in funding - taking the total amount of investment in the business beyond $71 million - as they look to double their US offering by hiring over 1,000 educators to address a national teacher shortage.
In 2022 Zen Educate generated more than €20.6 million (~$22.3M) in annual revenue, a huge increase on the €2.9 million (~$3.2M) reached three years prior. With the recent investment and focused expansion within the US, we wouldn't be surprised to see this figure continue to rise.

Sapia.ai: $25M in Funding
AI-powered interview system
Barb Hyman founded Sapia.ai in 2018 with the goal of making hiring more efficient, effective, and inclusive. Originally called PredictiveHire, the automated, asynchronous chat and video system helps businesses interview candidates in a low-pressure environment, so the interviewees can relax and be themselves.
Candidates answer five simple questions that provide insights into their personality traits, communication skills, and behavioral competencies. The AI then analyzes each candidate and creates a shortlist, based on how they fit with the hiring business’s brand. This service helps reduce the average time to hire by 47%.
In 2024, Sapia.ai interviewed a total of 1.7 million candidates on behalf of clients, and also won its first UK customers, including Starbucks and Holland & Barrett. The business’s total funding to date is $25M, including the latest Series A funding round of $17M, raised in November 2022.

Wing: $25M in Annual Revenue
Supplier of vetted virtual assistants
Wing is a virtual assistant recruitment platform which was founded in 2018 by Martin Gomez, Sai Gupta, Karan Kanwar and Roland Polzin.
Businesses can use the service to hire pre-vetted and trained virtual assistants on a monthly subscription basis.
Assistants are available for full or part time roles and can be tasked with jobs like responding to calls and emails, ordering products and supplies, conducting research, booking travel arrangements and tracking expenses and invoices.
The cost of a part-time VA is $699 per month, rising to $1,099 for a full-time equivalent. These prices include a dedicated assistant, a customer success manager and access to the Wing Workspace app which can be used to communicate with and manage team members.
The business revealed that in 2022 they surpassed $14 million in annual recurring revenue, operating with a team of 1,000 employees. Fast forward 12-months and Wing reached $25 million in annual revenue for 2023.

Jobsity: $27M in Annual Revenue
Nearshore staffing firm supporting U.S companies
Jobsity helps businesses hire and retain Latin American programmers and was founded by Andres Garzon in 2011.
The site aims to find handpicked candidates within various budgets for companies in healthcare, education, finance and banking, SaaS and technology.
Their nearshore top-tier IT experts from over 30 countries operate in US timezones to fully support the businesses they work with. These individuals can fulfill roles such as customer service, data entry, payroll and programming.
The business takes great care with the quality of workers available through the platform, so it’s perhaps not surprising to learn that the average Jobsity staffer stays with the same client for three years.
Jobsity announced in 2022 that they had grown their first half revenue by 67% compared to the previous year, resulting in annual revenue of $27.2 million.

Proxify: €45M in Annual Revenue
supporting companies fill developer vacancies with tech talent
Proxify is a platform which connects top developers worldwide to businesses with tech vacancies that was founded in 2018.
Only 2% of the 20,000 monthly applicants are added to the Proxify network of tech talent following AI shortlisting, coding tests and technical interviewers. There is a team of 25+ "matchers" whose role is to personally align developers with company vacancies based on the specifics of the role, and within just two days.
Employers can also search for the right candidates from a pool of almost 4,000 based on the skills they possess. This can include criteria such as backend developers with Ruby experience, or data engineers who've previously worked with Python.
After finding the right hire, businesses can then expect to pay these pre-vetted developers between £27.90-46.90 (~$35-59) per hour. Which can work out cheaper than permanent local hires.
To date, more than 1,000 companies have used Proxify to support their hiring process, including the likes of EA, Electrolux and Securitas.
The business' growth has been clearly reflected in their recent income. In 2019 Proxify generated €1.69 million (~$1.8M) in annual revenue; by 2022 this had grown significantly to over €20.5 million (~$22M), and increased again in 2023 to €36.5 million (~$38.4M).
More recently, EU Startups reports1 they're generating €45M in annual revenue. We consider them a good source for this, since they had the Proxify CEO speaking at their event.

Recruiter.com: $50M+ in Annual Revenue
Recruitment and talent sourcing services
Job Mobz is a talent acquisition platform which was founded in 2012 by Jesse Tinsley.
The business offers a variety of onboarding services for customers which include recruitment process outsourcing, on-demand recruitment, talent sourcing and payroll fulfillment.
Essentially, Job Mobz aims to create partnerships with companies as part of their recruitment services, by providing a tailored offering that fits exactly what the customer needs.
Within five years Jesse had grown the business to $1 million in revenue, and in 2022 surpassed $30 million in annual revenue.
Since then, the brand has made a number of business acquisitions and Job Mobz has gone from strength to strength, achieving over $50 million in annual revenue in 2023.
In November of 2024, Gaps had the scoop that JobMobz redirected to Recruiter.com after its acquisition of the brand.

Job&Talent: $2Bn in Annual Revenue
Jobs marketplace
Job&Talent operate a successful digital temp staffing agency with the aim to make the process of job searching and hiring much easier.
Founded in 2009, Job&Talent was previously a graduate job focused recruitment site, where they limited job postings to just 25 companies. It then pivoted into more of a blue-collar job app before moving to the current digital temp agency it is today. The service is now used by over 2,500 companies to support with their hiring needs.
The company reported back in 2018 that it had doubled its revenue from €49 million in 2017 to €136 million the following year. Fast forward to 2023 and the business revealed annual revenue has grown to €1.9 billion (~$2bn), a 90% increase year-over-year.
Two years after entering the US market the business increased annual revenue from the US alone by 22% to $450 million in 2023.
