Thread Creator: $1,100 in Monthly Recurring Revenue

X (Twitter) scheduler for brands and professionals

Thread Creator was acquired by Tim Bennetto in 2023 to help users create and schedule tweets.

Customers can use the tool to put together threads or individual tweets on X in just seconds. Thread Creator also allows users to connect multiple X accounts and manage them from one dashboard.

A free account option allows customers to plan five tweets each month. Or there is an unlimited tier priced at $15 per month.

Whilst monthly recurring revenue was $1,100 in August 2024. In reality the monthly income figure is higher than this at around $2,000 due to some members paying annually for subscriptions.

It’s worth noting that Thread Creator will soon be re-branding to Buddyy. So we’ll be following their progress with keen interest.

EasyGen: $9.1K in Monthly Recurring Revenue

AI-powered LinkedIn post creator

EasyGen was launched in 2024 by Ruben Hassid as a LinkedIn post-creation service.

The AI-powered software is designed to help users generate new content for their LinkedIn accounts quickly and easily.

Customers can select an industry to target, a niche within that space, and a topic type. Artificial intelligence then generates a LinkedIn post aimed at capturing the attention of that exact audience.

Visitors can test out the service by producing three pieces of LinkedIn content for free. EasyGen then costs $59.99 for additional posts that can be published on the platform.

Ruben has shared that just 92 days after launching, EasyGen is already generating over $9,100 in monthly recurring revenue. We wouldn’t be surprised in the slightest to see this rise significantly going forward.

#3

Supergrow: $11K in Monthly Recurring Revenue

LinkedIn post inspiration and creation platform

Supergrow was founded in May 2023 by Deven Bhooshan and Utsav Patel as a platform to help professionals grow their brands on LinkedIn.

The software contains several features designed to increase engagement and reach on the platform. Some of these include the ability to save and categorise ideas with a single click, as well as receiving tailored LinkedIn post inspiration on a specific topic.

Supergrow also allows customers to generate posts with the help of AI by matching the user's writing style. These posts can then include templated carousels and be scheduled for publishing.

Pricing for the service starts at $19 per month, which includes 50,000 words of content. The three additional pricing tiers, ranging from $29 to $500 per month, include additional word allowances and other benefits.

Despite operating as a team of two - though they are currently recruiting a front-end engineer - the business has supported over 3,000 customers to date.

This has helped drive monthly recurring revenue beyond $11,000, just 15 months after launching.

Megaphone: $47K in Monthly Recurring Revenue

Platform to boost social media engagement

Megaphone was founded by Michael Houck in 2023 as a platform to provide social media posts with instant organic engagement from relevant creators.

After Michael grew his own audience beyond 90,000 followers, he created Megaphone to support others to increase their reach.

Users can use the service to increase the views of their posts across LinkedIn and X by paying creators to engage with their content.

Customers can join the platform from $49 per month, and then deposit as much as they wish to spend on the service. This money is then sent to these vetted and matched creators in the relevant niche if they engage with the boosted posts within one hour of receiving them.

In 2023 Megaphone amplified over 2,000 posts which were boosted by almost 7,000 creators. This resulted in users of the service gaining more than 400,000 followers across X and LinkedIn.

The business now drives tens of millions of impressions for customers each month across a variety of niches. The growth of the business has led to Megaphone generating $47,300 in monthly recurring revenue.
